What is State Central Committee? There are currently 33 senate districts in the state of Ohio, with a male and female representative for each district. These constitute the 66 representatives on the Ohio Republican State Central Committee. The Ohio Republican State Central Committee members are supposed to run the Ohio Republican Party by: supporting the district and counties that they represent and strength accountability in the party in hopes of having a stronger financial future to support exceptional candidates for office. They help plan the State Convention. When was the last Republican Party state convention in Ohio? They hold one another and candidates accountable according to the Party Platform, Mission and Vision. They serve on standing committees. They help underperforming county parties and assist with education, resources, fundraising and candidate races.
